At Harvard University’s Longwood Medical School in Cambridge, MA, we executed three comprehensive Historic Masonry Restoration projects across campus. The scope of work encompassed meticulous repairs to three iconic buildings, including the installation of over 900 full-face and partial-face Dutchman replacements using Vermont White Sugar Marble. This intricate process restored the architectural integrity and historic character of the façades.

Additionally, we performed precision cutting and pointing on 65,000 linear feet of mortar joints to ensure structural stability and extend the lifespan of these historic structures. The entire façade underwent specialized cleaning to remove accumulated grime while preserving the original materials’ patina. These restoration efforts highlight our expertise in preserving historic masonry, blending craftsmanship with advanced techniques to honor the legacy of Harvard’s architectural heritage.
