Air and vapor barriers do double duty. When designed and installed properly, they extend the life of a building and improve energy-efficiency, thereby reducing operating costs and carbon footprint.
Using the appropriate barrier system is essential:

- Vapor impermeable
- Vapor permeable
Making the right selection relies on an understanding of how a particular wall assembly is installed and how it will perform throughout the year, under the extremes of heat, cold, wind, rain, snow and ice, which are the realities of our variable environment.
This is a team effort. We work closely with general contractors, building owners and their architectural and engineering teams to provide meticulously installed and detailed air barrier systems to limit energy loss and handle condensed and penetrating water within a wall system.
